Swiss soprano Nathalie Constantin studied opera singing with Hiroko Kawamichi at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne , where she obtained her vocal pedagogy and concert performance diplomas in 2008. Winner of the Colette Mosetti Foundation scholarship and the Valais Solidarvox Foundation prize , she also trained in 2012 in the MDH Respiratory Coordination method with Lynn Martin and Robin de Haas.

OPERA

She made her stage debut in 2005 at the Lausanne Opera , in the roles of the Page (Rigoletto, Verdi) and Léonie (La Vie Parisienne, Offenbach). She also participated in the 2011 production of Rinaldo (Handel) under the direction of Diego Fasolis. With the lyric company Ouverture-Opéra , she played Countess Almaviva (The Marriage of Figaro, Mozart), Musetta (La Bohème, Puccini) and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni, Mozart). In 2013, she played the Second Lady in Mozart's The Magic Flute with the Opéra du Rhône . At the same time, she performed as an actress and singer in several theatrical creations.

Particularly involved in the sacred repertoire and the oratorio , she collaborates with various ensembles and choir directors in Switzerland, notably tackling works by Mozart (Mass in C minor, Laudate Dominum, Requiem), Bach (St. John Passion, Magnificat, Christmas Oratorio and numerous cantatas), Rossini (Petite messe solennelle), Mendelssohn (Psalm 42, Lauda Sion), as well as Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. She also stands out in contemporary music , notably thanks to her interpretation of Jonathan Harvey's Song Offerings, recorded by Swiss National Radio in 2007. In 2011, she co-founded the chamber music trio Andant'Elles . Based in Buenos Aires since 2013, Nathalie Constantin performs as a soloist with the Cantoría Lugano and Cantorí choirs, in works such as Bach's Magnificat, Mozart's Missa solemnis KV 337, John Rutter's Requiem and Schubert's Mass in E-flat major D 950. In 2014, she recorded for the Gallo label a disc devoted to the unpublished works of the Swiss composer Émile Bret, alongside the Argentinian pianist Norberto Broggini. In 2024, she participated as a soloist in the Spanish tour of the Misa de Dos Mundos by the Argentinian composer Ariel Quintana, confirming her roots in the current musical scene and her taste for the dialogue between traditions and creations.
